Every time I take the train to work, I see many people using their cell phones talking until we arrive downtown. I wonder if these people are aware of the dangers of such a behavior on the long run. I won’t start debating about the studies made on the potential dangers of such devices, I think my title answers pretty well where I stand.

SAR stands for Specific Absorption Rate. If you didn’t know, your cell phone constantly emits wave radiations during a call. When your cell phone is in your pocket, at rest, he emits a regular pulse of electromagnetic radiation so the company’s base stations can keep a geographical positional track of the phones in their “cellular network”.

Did you know that a malignant brain tumor represents a life-ending diagnosis in the vast majority of those diagnosed. Cell technology was first massively developed in Sweden in 1986, the cell phones had then a power output of 450 MHz. With the 3G technology nowadays, we reach levels between 900-1800 MHz, that’s almost 4 times stronger than older devices and technology. Cell phones base towers are spreading like a cancer, they are even hiding some in churches. I’m not sure how companies were able to make us believe cell phones represent no danger, but when I see everyone abusing this technology, I wonder why should I be scared since everyone does it. This false reassuring thought is the reason of the global increase in brain tumors incidences, and this is only the beginning.

In the industry, we see more and more “wireless” devices: router, laptops, wireless pcmcia, blue tooth technology, wireless phones, wireless game controller, walkie talkie…I’m not sure when this craziness will end but we will soon see some repercussions of this abuse. I really feel sad for the newborn because the concern is not just brain tumors, but other health effects associated or reported to be associated with cell phones, including behavioral disturbances, salivary gland tumors, male infertility and microwave sickness syndrome. About behavioral disturbances, it can start as early as when the newborn is in his mother, her cell phone use could be significant.

I read that North American Standard for mobile phones used by the public is 1.6 watts/kilogram averaged over one gram of body tissue. The European Standard is 2.0 (W/kg).

If you are still reading this, you have probably some concerns about the topic. I strongly suggest you print and take the time to read this study, it could maybe have some incidence on your cellular phone use and they offer some suggestions.

On the occasion of its tenth anniversary, Google announced the launch of project “10 ^ 100″ (pronounced 10 power 100), whose goal is simply to “change the world.” To do this, Google requires users to submit their ideas to help “as many people as possible.” The group states that it released for a sum of $ 10 million, which will be used to finance the implementation of the five best ideas. Google will select a hundred ideas among those that have been sent out. People around the world will be able to vote and finally a jury will select up to five ideas.

I’m not sure if you are familiar with this type of data. If you read the last line, does it mean 146 different IPs hit my website between 101 and 200 times in a month?

If you count the bots for around 46, it would mean there is about 100 people that like the website. I’m not sure this is possible…

Raphael Nadal will be playing Andy Murray at 16h00 this afternoon. They will be resuming their game started yesterday and dominated by Murray 6-2, 7-6 in the first 2 sets. They had to stop at 2-3 Nadal leading with one break because of the rain.

Nadal has been playing incredible tennis in 2008. Here is an overview on the major tournaments he attended. It’s important to consider that like most of Spanish players, he’s favorite field is clay.

• He reached the semifinals of the Australian Open for the first time.

• During the spring clay court season, he won four singles titles and defeated Roger Federer in three finals.

• He won the French Open without losing one set.

• At Wimbledon, he played and won the longest final in Wimbledon history against Roger Federer.

• He won the gold medal at the Olympics and became ranked number one player in the world.

At the ongoing US Open, he seemed pretty tired is this semifinal. Murray was playing a great match and seemed unstoppable. Let’s hope this rain gave enough time for him to recuperate and come stronger on the court. I would not be surprised to see this game end in five sets. What do you think?

The perfect scenario would be a final between the two best players in the world. Even Roger said yesterday he rathered play Nadal.

This place is almost unreal, anyone living in Montreal or planning a trip here should visit this private island. If you want to organize a party or impress a group of friends this is something you need to do. The owner, Jay is a great host and will provide most of your needs: ” boat ride to the island, electricity, wood for the fire”. There are two kayaks available and plenty of nature ground to discover. They is also a sand beach not to far from the place. They have four fishing rods, it bites alot early in the morning or at sunset.You can settle your tent in the back of the house, the great thing about this place: There are no bugs since the constant little breeze takes them away!!!

You will need to bring your food and water!

The layout looks good, this is normal considering Balkhis designed it. The sidebars are well built not annoying for the visitors and you can navigate easily everywhere.  I would suggest a bit of work on the footer but this is optional, since content is the most important aspect of a blog. Tyna will often come with new and interesting ideas written in a proper and pleasant tone. I recommend the visit for any starting blogger.

I see all the hard work he’s putting into his project, it’s very inspiring, many bloggers could learn from his work and thoughts.

They don’t seem to realize there is a failure in their architecture. I’m sure many people will receive this warning, yet these poor users haven’t done anything to go against the rules, they followed a link sent from a friend. It’s sad they can’t make the difference between the attacker and the victim.

I don’t think it’s a spyware sitting inside the computer. The problem could be related to an application you installed, maybe if you remove the last application you added, it can solve your problem. Again they should restrict and have a tighter security in their API (application programming interface).
