It’s a sad day for streaming video fans everywhere as news has been reported that TVLinks has been shut down and the owner, a 26 year old man from Chelteham in the UK, was arrested read the whole story
I suggest you go read the nice comments from Jack Schofield about TV Link shutting down and the owner going to jail.

Damn that’s a bad news.
Was great site (other clones are available online)
I was wondering if it’s legal to offer service like that in canada.
Last year I acquired domain name iDoWatch.tv for such project :-/
Anyway I think the next to go to jail is Christoffer Bubach the owner of joox.net
In case he don’t I will move to Sweden to open bunch of torrents , warez and of course “sexy time” sites
Pablo, I have a question for you ( i don’t know the answer by the way) , if you are located in canada as an example and your server is based somewhere in Africa, under which jurisdiction law you are subjected ?
Take care
someone should organize a fund raising for the man’s legal expenses.. someone should contact him and set up a fund raising account.. im sure theres a million fans of this website and donation account will be helpful.. im willing to give $50 usa dollars.. im sure theres people who would wana give some change
Fouad I took some time before answering this question because it is a really tricky one.
What I think and then again i don’t have the asnwer,
If your server is based in Morocco, you will be subjected to Morocco’s Law even you if live in Canada. If the will prosecute you, this is another story.
A little example is ThePiratebay.org, ( http://torrentfreak.com/possible-locations-for-the-new-the-pirate-bay-hq/), they have been trying to buy a land or something on the sea for a while now. Apparently, if the server’s are on that “peace of water” they would be above any laws.
