TVLINKS has been forced to switch data center’s from MPAA threats. Now we need your help. Please consider donating. Apparently it is now illegal to link to a website that displays illegal content. But what about the sites that are actually housing the video uploads? Oh wait, they’re owned by Google, and sites like YouTube have already paid off the MPAA to turn their head.
TVLinks, like a lot of websites, offered a vast variety of well categorized links. These links would give you access to data, sometimes copyrighted, sometimes not. Think TVLinks as a library, your information is smartly organized, you can find your item almost immediately.
Shouldn’t be the people hosting the copyrighted data be persecuted?
MPAA, RIAA, and Intellectual property owners should ask themselves why we are using streaming video websites. They should re-think the way they displaying their precious content when broadcasted.
In a TV show, each episode lasts 42 to 43 minutes. You get commercials three to six times. Have they ever heard the term “peak” as watching and getting into a story. Do they think we can understand or be concentrated on something they cut in six parts. When someone uses TVLinks in order to watch Heroes S02E06, in what way is the person really affecting the producer? Why organizations like RIAA and MPAA shut down sites like TVLinks?
Do they absolutely want us to watch the 17 brainwashing minutes they offer.
Are they mad we can now watch what we want, when we want?
What difference does if I watch it the night they are broadcasting or not? Their TV rates?
Wikipedia and File sharing in Canada.
The mere fact of placing a copy on a shared directory in a computer where that copy can be accessed via a P2P service does not amount to distribution. Before it constitutes distribution, there must be a positive act by the owner of the shared directory, such as sending out the copies or advertising that they are available for copying
This decision therefore gives five distinct legal categories for P2P sharing legality:
1. Downloading musical works for personal use is legal.
2. Downloading musical works for non-personal use is illegal by the Copyright Act, though not specifically ruled on.
3. Downloading non-musical copyrighted works for personal or non-personal use is illegal by the Copyright Act, though not specifically ruled on.
4. Uploading any (musical or not) copyrighted works by passively making available for copying is legal.
5. Uploading any (musical or not) copyrighted works by making a positive act to send or advertise the work is illegal.
This decision has not been overturned, so this is current Canadian law.
We may have a massive migration from the United States in a near future.
If you are not Canadian, I would love to know what rules apply to your country.

I own a Fujitsu Lifebook S6231, at first I was a bit skeptic on this brand as I didn’t know much about it, but the machine had the look I was looking for and two of my friends had purchased a similar machine and had nothing but positive feedbacks to give (if any of you use a Fujitsu laptop you’re welcome to leave your comments).
